CNN posted an article last week, that highlights how Japan Airlines has a new option available in their booking flow: a ‘baby indicator’. This neat little feature, allows people to avoid babies on their flight and truly enjoy the relaxing time they deserve.
Innovation can be simple
Who said innovation is hard and complicated? Implementing a feature such as this one, truly helps the airline’s customers, whilst the required data (i.e. date of birth) is already present in the database (as it’s an obligatory form field).
Personally, we would definitely choose Japan Airlines over other airlines (if flight prices would be roughly equal). This is definitely a unique USP, which caught our attention – and for a good reason!
